The records show the enormous amount of work that early members undertook to get the club started. These pioneers dug trenches, carried out carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. They donated furnishings and crockery. Some agreed to make an interest free loan to help establish the club. In 1990 members had to practically rebuild the club house when the roof blew off in a storm! Members throughout the past years have undertaken many tasks to bring the club to its present standard. Perhaps present day members are not needed to build trenches, but we are needed to build membership. Why not encourage your friends, family or work colleagues to come into the club for a free “tester session”
