Newsletter April 2006

How good it is to have the winter behind us once more, and another season of Croquet ahead of us. The photograph below reminds us of one of the reasons why we do not play during the winter months! Thank you to John Roberts for capturing this unusual aspect of the Clubhouse!

We welcome Ann Perry as our new Chairman and Marjorie Barker as Vice-Chairman. Thank you both for taking on these responsibilities on our behalf. Thank you to Bob for all his hard work over the last two years and for remaining on the Committee. Thank you also to John who has retired from the Committee after five years, two as Chairman. We also welcome two new Committee members Audrey Bowden and John Burgess.

There are various Competitions, Tournaments and many enjoyable Social Events. Make the most of your membership and come along and have fun!
